As it rains again and again we change to the bad weather programme and go to the AQWA, the Aquarium of Western Australia. It is located in Hillarys, a bit north of Perth.

In the dry we dive into the underwater world. Jann does not want to believe that the sea horses are also fishes. There is a big pool with sharks, stingrays and turtles. Petra likes that she automatically is moved on the transport band through the tunnels below. Kiara shows her joy with ahhs and ohhs. I guess she likes more fishes than birds.

After lunch we drive nearly to the southern end of the Perth metropolean area. Petra has already booked in Coogee. The camping there is directly at the beach. Only there is not that much fun on it while the waves of rain showers are passing. In advance we also changed the booking to a cabin as it is now too cold and also too wet to sleep in a tent.

After making all cosy we go to Fremantle, the harbour city of Perth. For tomorrow Petra is booking the passage to Rottnest Island inclusive bicycle and trailer for the kids. We too go to the market. Here Jann finally gets his icecream. He needed quite a lot of patience. We cancelled the stroll through the city centre due to another rain shower.
